Thanks for stopping by! On this page you can find out more information about me and the things I like and dislike. If you want to get in touch, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please don’t hesitate to, whether you have a question, a suggestion, or if you’d like to tell me what you thought of my work. I’d really love to hear from you!
I’m from Liverpool in the United Kingdom. I studied at The University of Liverpool, where I gained a degree in English Language & Literature.
I’ve read pretty much everything Stephen King has ever written. If I had to name a Top Five Stephen King novels, I’d probably have them in this order: The Green Mile, 11.22.63, Desperation, Dreamcatcher, The Stand.
I don’t just read King though. My favourite ever book is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, and I love authors like Dean Koontz, Michael Connelly, Peter Straub, Ray Bradbury, Jodi Picoult, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Ralph Ellison, Wally Lamb, Jo Nesbo, Andy Weir, Mark Haddon, Tom Rob Smith, Yann Martel, and many many more! Please help me find more great reads by emailing your suggestions! I’ll reply personally to each and every email I receive.
I love TV, especially crime and science fiction. Some of my all-time favourite TV shows are Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Dexter, Continuum, Warehouse 13, Falling Skies, Game of Thrones, The Americans, the Walking Dead, Westworld…I could go on all day. Then there’s the stuff from when I was growing up, like The X Files, Quantum Leap, Red Dwarf, Spielberg’s Taken.
My all-time favourite movie is Pulp Fiction. Other favourites include Close Encounters of the Third Kind, (any version of) War of the Worlds, The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather films, Vanilla Sky (tech support…), Seven Psychopaths, Silence of the Lambs. The list is endless. Please drop me a line and let me know what I’ve missed off so I can watch it – if I haven’t already!
I’m a big music fan too. If you’ve read Arrival you’ll have guessed that I’m a Johnny Cash fan! My tastes are diverse though, ranging from The Beatles to Genesis, to Nirvana, to Tina Dico, to Jason Mraz. I even like classical and rap, but I’m not a fan of heavy metal. Sorry, it just doesn’t do it for me. Nirvana’s as heavy as I get (and Unplugged in New York is my preferred Nirvana album).
If you’ve read this far without falling asleep…congratulations! Before I let you get on with your life, I have two more things. Firstly, I love animals. If you do too (especially cats and dogs) then you’re already my friend.
Thank you so much for taking the time today to visit my website, check out my work, and connect. I meant it when I said I’d love to hear from you, so please don’t hesitate to drop me a line at email@example.com.
The Hunter Inside
The Hunter Inside was my debut novel. It was published back in 2012, and was inspired by Stephen King’s Desperation.
It might just give you nightmares!
It is about a monster called Shimasou, and the three people it is stalking.
It will make you ask yourself: What would I do if a brutal creature was trying to kill me? If I might be the only person who could stop it taking over the world?
At the heart of the story is Sandy Myers, a woman who is prepared to fight for her twin sons.
There is a twist in this tale that you’ll either love or hate!

From The Sky
My second major work is From The Sky, a three-part alien invasion science fiction tale about a group of people cast into a nightmare scenario – the invasion of northern California by huge UFOs.
The titles of the individual novels are Arrival, Journey, and Nevada. I’m really excited about the future of From The Sky. It has Steven Spielberg written all over it!
